$100 Million of stolen funds to Haiti

Let me start by saying that what happened in Haiti is a tragedy. Any time there is any type of disaster and human lives are lost is always a terrible thing.

The thing is, every time something like this happens, something else terrible happens. Our president, no matter who it is at the time wants to be the white knight riding in to save the day. That's great but it sure is easy to do when you have no stake, or maybe a micro-stake in the game. The money that the US is "giving" to Haiti is the same money that was stolen from my pocket and every other pocket in the US.

When disasters like this happen, American people will voluntarily open up their wallets and donate more money on top of the money that was stolen from them by "Oz". Why do those in government insist on "donating" those huge numbers? With today's numbers, the prez could have easily said $1 Billion dollars and no one would have blinked an eye.

If the US has $100 Million to spare, give it back to the people you stole it from. Those people would be more than willing to donate to this disaster.
