US Presidential Candidates... no proof of citizenship required

I guess the Supreme Court decided not to review the issue with Obama's birth certificate. Every action that the court takes or does not take is the standard set there after. This will just open up the presidency to anyone who wants to run... not matter their nationality. As long as they are a great speaker and markets themselves well, no one will care.

I haven't really been following this story that closely but it seems if there is no proof that Obama is a natural born US citizen (one of the requirements for becoming president), this issue should at least be laid to rest by requiring the president elect to show proof. Do you think if Obama was the conservative candidate, that the media and rest of the nation would not let this issue die until proof was shown. I guess this double standard is now the standard.
