To become president in the United States there are
3 basic requirements.
- be at least 35 years old
- have lived in the U.S. for at least 14 years
- be a natural born citizen of the united States
It seems that someone would have to check these requirements before one could even get on the ballot. I guess in Obama's case, that wasn't so. Currently around the internet, bloggers and
online newspapers are posting and writing about the fact that Obama cannot prove that he fulfills requirement #3... be a natural born citizen of the united States. There are lawsuits being filed and should go all the way to the Supreme Court. If it doesn't, the court would basically be "thumbing their nose" at the consitution.
